La Bombe (Les Belles Images, 20-11-1924)

Luc Leguey was a French painter and illustrator, born in Paris. He was a student of Robert-Fleury and cooperated on several magazines in the early 20th century. He worked as an illustrator for Le Gil Blas Illustré and Pages Folles, and contributed to Le Rire, Le Sourire, Le Charivari and Le Frou-Frou.

He published his comic stories in the magazine Diabolo Journal from 1912 until the early 1920s. He was also present in Le Pêle-Mêle in the 1910s and Les Belles Images in the 1920s. He has also created comic stories for advertising purposes, and for his children's work he often used the pseudonym Lukle Gai.
