Une tragédie Americaine by Gérard Aublé

Gérard Aublé was a French illustrator. He made cover illustrations for the science fiction collection Galaxie-bis of Éditions OPTA between 1968 and 1974. He is mostly known for his cover designs for novels by Christine Arnothy and Guy des Cars. He had a small stint in comics, when he illustrated an adaptation in 288 comic strips of the Théodore Dreiser novel 'An American Tragedy' ('Une tragédie Américaine') for the Opera Mundi agency in 1964. It was published in newspapers like L'Aurore, Le Courrier de l'Ouest, L'Espoir de Nice and L'Humanité.
